Government

Welcome to the town of Elloree. As Mayor, I hope this electronic visit will entice you to come and see for yourself all our charming old town has to offer. We are easy to find and easily accessible from either Interstate 26 or 95, and we are conveniently located just a few miles from Santee, home of the famous 110,000 acre Lake Marion and several of the best golf courses in the state.

As you Web visit, don’t miss information about the government of our town, our police department, and the businesses offered here in Elloree. Take a moment also to view information on the Elloree Heritage Museum and Cultural Center where you can see what life in Elloree has been like since 1886. This farming community we call home is also now a place to shop for antiques, dine in unique settings, or stroll down the streets of our revitalized downtown area. I am extremely proud of what has been accomplished in the past few years. When you make your “in person” visit, I think you will agree.

You will also find that Elloree is also a fine place to live. If you like friendly folks, mild climates, fishing, hunting, golfing, shopping, or just relaxing, then Elloree just might be the place for you. Come see us and you might stay a day, or maybe the rest of your life.
